IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE EAR PIERCINGS that get irritated by larger ear Wires choose the 19Gauge size for the wire....it is slightly thinner. 18 gauge Is a little thicker and the hammered texture will show up more.
I personally wear the 18guage with no problems
These will stay In place and not slip through your ear by using the little plastic backs up against your ear lobe
There is another style of these with a marquise shape not as rounded as these "marquise threader "
